Staff Party 2011 - Batian Flowers

The Batian staff party 2011 was held in the beginning of August.
We had a great time with an egg-race, sack-race, eating competition
(participants had to eat 1 whole bread, 1 banana and 1 soda in the shortest time),
dance contest and there was even a price voor the best dressed man/woman.

From all races we got really hungry. The barbeque was in good hands of a caterer.

Performance by staff members with a song in Kimeru language. management joined them for a dance!

Enjoying the nice food.

Despite of heavy rainfall we danced the afternoon away ......

Because of the rainfall the acrobates and Tiger Power (strongest man of Africa) had to postpone their preformance with 2 hours.

But is was worth waiting. what a great show!

Tiger Power broke 3 iron nails with his teeth! These nails were beaten into a bar.
The bar was held by volunteers.

Tiger Power held a 300 pounds weighting barrel on his stomach!
Even then a couple of men climbed on top of the barrel.

Despite of the, sometimes heavy, rainfall everybody kept smiling and enjoying.

The Batian Family has a great day to remember!
